18th November 2017 – Fermentation and the Microbiome

Come and join me and the Healthy Kids are Cool team for an informative morning on fermentation and the microbiome.

Together we will take a look into our genetics, our history as human beings and how we have evolved to be in such close symbiosis with the bacteria and viruses in and on us.  We’ll look at how our diets have changed as a result of refrigeration and industrialisation.  We’ll discover why it is a good idea to still incorporate some of the fermented foods into our diets today.
